I could not find a thread like this so I've decided to start one.

The idea is simple, pick 3 albums that you would like to see released in hi-res multichannel.

My only stipulation is that there has to be a completed surround mix that has already been done.
These mixes could be old quad versions or 5.1 mixes that were done but never released.

The following 3 albums are my picks:

1. Frank Zappa and The Mothers of Invention - Apostrophe / Over-nite Sensation

2. Paul Simon - Graceland

3. Sly & the Family Stone - Small Talk

HM: Steven Wilson's mix of Deep Purple - Made In Japan

Deep Purple Made in Japan s.w. mix
Elton John Don't shoot me 5.1
any Eagles (Desperado / On the border / One of these nights)

Nice thread

1. Eagles S/T unreleased quad

2. Steely Dan Pretzel Logic unreleased ES 5.1

3. Billy Joel Turnstiles quad

HM- Traffic John Barleycorn unreleased quad

There are so many more though...

I'll pick 3 5.1 mixes and 3 quads.

5.1:

1. Pink Floyd - Obscured By Clouds (Andy Jackson mix)

2. Elton John - Blue Moves (Greg Penny mix)

3. Tears For Fears - The Seeds of Love (Steven Wilson mix)

HM: Steely Dan - Pretzel Logic (Elliot Scheiner mix)

Quad:

1. Electric Light Orchestra - El Dorado

2. Todd Rundgren - Initiation

3. Pink Floyd - Animals

HM: Supertramp - Crime of the Century

(And yes, I know that my quad choices are only rumored to exist!)

Good lists so far! What does HM mean?

I'd be in for any Eagles, Doobies, Steely Dan or Pink Floyd quads.

I'm sure there was speculation of at least one Phil Collins album mixed in surround somewhere here on QQ.
