They are pretty extreme mixes - instruments panned all around. They are just my first experiments to learn how to mix in surround. They are 6-channel files, but the LFE is empty. I didn't really want to spend that much time on this experiment. There is certainly a lot more I could think to try with this song, but this was more of a learning exercise for me. Maybe one day I'll do an Atmos remix and really dive in deeper.
Secret Chiefs 3 released multitrack stems of this song "Bereshith" for fans to remix. Here is more info: http://downloads.webofmimicry.com/album/musica-practica-geek-pack-one-bereshith
And here are some more fan remixes: https://sc3geekpack.blogspot.com/?m=0
Some day, I plan to do other styles - from simple acoustic natural stuff to psychedelic electronic weirdness. I'll spend more time on details and subtlety when I'm mixing my own original music.
