Merry Christmas everyone. Tonight will be our annual tradition of watching A Christmas Story on TV. Unfortunately will be watching in the hospital because my mother broke her leg the day after Thanksgiving so she is recuperating. She should be home Jan 6th. Making great progress for someone who is 96. Medical technology is incredible today. She was standing on her broken leg 2 days after the operation. So merry Christmas to all medical researchers and especially everyone who has to work on Christmas at care giving centers.

Yikes! Sad to hear Phil but glad to hear she's hanging in there. Merry Christmas to both of you.

These days it's tough to figure out what exactly you can say to people, but the hell with it, I say "Merry Christmas"!!

Ho-Ho-Ho and all that! At least you can tell everyone "Happy New Year!"...................................I think! :confused:
 
Merry Christmas (or holiday salutation of your choice) to the whole QQ family. Special thanks to Jon for all his work. And congrats to Big Bill on reaching a milestone. I too became 65 this month and am now a proud member of Medicare! :yikes
 
Merry Christmas! Apologies for being disconnected for quite a while, but the end of the year it's being a bit shitty for me. On my particular hejira, I'm spending Christmas Eve in Tel Aviv. Luckily returning back to Madrid tomorrow.

The snow got a bit heavier as the day wore on - had to drive 40 miles to a Christmas party with family and honestly, it was a bit hard to see the road. Several cars in the ditch. Luckily, I have a 4-wheel drive vehicle. :)
 
OMG! My youngest "vinyl loving son" bought me about 10 new vinyls. One of them is Smashing Pumpkins deluxe version of MELLON COLLIE AND THE INFINITE SADNESS album. Wow! And, Pornography by The Cure. Man, I cannot wait to spin these gems....

Pornography is one of my fave albums ever! Where Faith was a melancholic album this one is loud, aggressive, angry....one of the darkest records I've ever heard, really captures the atmosphere of a band falling apart. Play it loud and in the dark if you can
