This title has been mentioned a couple of times over the past year or so, usually by fans of "ambient" music. The Icelandic composer--I became aware of him after seeing Denis Villeneuve's Arrival and digging the score--blended elements of post-minimalism, post-classical, electronica, and "noise"--in his work. He died last week at age 49 under what are still mysterious circumstances. I'm on the hunt for this title, his only album to get a surround release...

(Intriguing and sympathetic article about Jóhannsson in The Guardian.)

Icelandic music is indeed wonderful, what a bunch of talent they have in such a small country. I was not aware of this title in surround, it's on my Discogs want list now, thanks for the heads up.
You may want to try Olafur Arnalds, he's known for Broadchurch's series soundtracks, but the rest of his catalogue is brilliant.
