This past weekend I met the group "air" who told me they have started
mixing moon safari for 5.1 dvd audio and sacd to be released towards
Jan 2005. This is a long wait for a great unknown album much like
porcupine tree who are unknown.

This past weekend I went to see air in concert. Afterwards I got to hang
out with the group. One of our conversations was surround sound. They
seemed surprised I knew so much about it. To my delight they told me that
"moon safari" was in the process of being mixed down to 5.1 for both dvd
audio and sacd. No official release date but they hoped for Jan 2005.
