Anyone picked up the new Police SACD yet? How does it compare to the DTS surround disc from a few years ago? Same mixes? I noticed the new disc has a couple additional tracks (including the remake of "Don't Stand So Close to Me" and a remix of "Message In a Bottle"). Does the new disc still use the remake of "De Doo Doo Doo" that's on the DTS? That was a nice bonus to have (had that ever been released elsewhere before?). Something tells me I'm going to have to hold on to my DTS copy as well.
It's a shame they didn't opt to remix the entire catalog for surround. The DTS disc is one of my favorite surround discs to listen to. I certainly would have loved to have heard the entire "Synchronicity" album done up that way, rather than just the handful of songs we get to hear now.
