8 New Multichannel SACDs came out on Tuesday.

They are:

* Broadway Inspirational Voices - Grace
* Bob Mintzer Big Band - Gently
* Warren Bernhardt, Jay Anderson & Peter Erskine - Amelia's Song
* Mark O' Connor Hot Swing Trio, Jane Monheit & Wynton Marsalis - In Full Swing
* Mitsuko Uchida - Schubert: Piano Sonata
* Brendel, Scottish Chamber Orch - Mozart: Piano Concertos

I sure do wish they would...oh how should I say this subtley, release some more MAINSTREAM TITLES that people would actually buy.

While I understand the need to have a wide spectrum of titles to choose from, and I'm sure that there is a demand for those just released, I would think that they would be better off getting some more mainstream titles rushed through the pipeline.

How 'bout some of the old Bruce stuff, or other Floyd titles, perhaps some Yes, or any other group that my parents haven't been inclined to listen to.

This reminds me of the type of junk Ampex used to put out on quad reels, when they could have offered more titles by the Moody Blues, BTO, Kraftwerk, ZZ TOP, etc.
