Well, at least his family gets the money.

Well, I think the person who gets the money is Jimi's step-(later adopted)-sister Janie, who probably didn't even know Jimi particularly well, and maybe a cousin (Robert?).

Jimi's closest sibling Leon was cut out later in life by Jimi's father Al Hendrix. There were 3 half-siblings by Jimi's mother, I doubt they get anything.
 
Though good, Woodstock does not hold a candle to either Atlanta Pop or Berkeley, which are both available in DTS mixes by Eddie Kramer. The mix of the Berkeley second show (audio only) is a sound to behold. The 5.1 mix is great, especially for a 1970 live recording. But that was Hendrix, a true luminary and innovator.
