My endless system tweaking drives my wife crazy! It all sounds good to her. In the big picture I'm very happy that she is easily pleased :)

wife + stereo system equals the couch or the doghouse, that I have occupied many times.

I've been married 30 years and my wife is very supportive of my music. Never do I hear turn it down. In fact, every evening around 7PM, after she's done watching what she wants, she tells me to listen to my music.

She's been wonderful....and, I listen at levels that creep towards inhumane.@:

Finally rearrangement is complete, maybe ? What's new !
LG 55" OLED E6P 3D 4K
Corner entertainment unit: Crosley
Glass corner shelf: MW (center channel speaker)
3D Region Free Blu Ray player: LG 335
10 gauge wire.
Banana Plugs
BigFoot security (had some Disc's stolen before?)

Others
Xbox One
Mystic case MSI mb AMD Quad core 3way SLI HTPC
Yamaha RX-V667 7.2
Sony UHP-H1

Had to decide to break my room up or not, so previously I used the whole 15X25 dimensions and liked that. But to get more usable space ? ( My wife ? like the room isn't big enough ?) I put my system in a 12x15 area and experimented with the surround backs rear ear level, and front near the ceiling. Actually liked the front near ceiling placement near the acoustic tiles get a reflection almost sounding a bit like Atmos. But that only happens with 7.1 discs or fake 7.1 . So I couldn't get the rears in the pic but I've got it setup triangulated in a 12x15 space. If that makes sense.....

Will be giving it a good test Sunday night 4/9, my neighbors kid has spring break now and his loud music has been interrupting my wife's sleep ( she gets up at 4:30) they sometimes go as late as 11 p.m. Don't get me wrong I'm not allergic to loud music, just don't care for their taste. Besides I have to live with a tired irritable wife, we'll put the shoe on the other foot and then maybe they'll lower the volume after 9p.m.
See how they like 90 watts per channel X 7 from about 10 pm to 5 am the later the better, wife will be out of town so I'm free to Kick out the Jams........:51banana::nuke

And I'll bet you love every single one of those pieces!

Hello AR,

Yes, in any case. Especially the golden one! This is the Space Acoustics from the German small series of 1982. One of a total of 22 pieces. This is a modified QSD-2. Only one was made of polished brass.

Curious, what is that JVC display piece on top of the speaker? How does it operate? Basically shows the volume from each of the 4 channels?
Don't think I've ever seen one of those before.

The device from JVC is the Memory Meter MM-4, a plasma display. They say there were as many as complete JVC 1000 series. Basically, it shows what synonymous Audio-Scope show.
