Wow. Nice collection! How do the ohio players sound in Q8?! Oh man, that'd be sick!

*sheepish grin*
Thanks! The Ohio Players tapes sound really good. Honey sounds identical to the DTS CD that was also released. Fire is also good, though I don't play it all that often.

Pictures can be done! :D

I could probably rattle off the sealed/never opened tapes that I've also opened:

Steve Miller - The Joker
Eagles - One of these nights
Guess Who - Canned Wheat, Share the Land, Road Food, Flavours, Power in the Music
Ringo Starr - Goodnight Vienna

But I'm also more into collecting for the music, not just to show off that I have all these tapes. Every one gets played. Heck, I even had a Q8 player in my AMC Hornet for a few years.

I love how everyone stores them by label. I do the same thing. :D

My lone Q8 is a still sealed copy of Curtis Mayfield's "Roots".

I have another Q8 that came in a large 8-track collection I bought a few years ago, but I can't remember the name of the album for the life of me. (It was a live album, that I do remember... One of the songs on it was called "You and I").

Here's the pile I used for the QQ Q8 background:

I have a small collection, but I've given up on the format since most titles I want are now availible on disc anyways. my Carly Simon "No Secrets" has gone AWOL.

Mine are all in boxes. Still packed away from a recent divorce. Will get settled and haul them out again at some point, but here is my list;

My apologies in advance for all the annoying pop-ups. It's a free website and I made my web pages back in the late 90's. Just have not gotten around to transferring it over to another server.

Impressive List Dr8track!!

I think my collection just crossed the 150 tape mark. Catching up to my stereo 8-track collection!

So how does Cosmic Slop by Funkadelic sound?? :D

Sweet. Anyone remember going into a store and seeing that many Q8's? There was a store I went into off of Times Square once that had a huge Q8 case filled with them. I can't remember the name of the store, but they went out of business years ago. I think the chain was bought by Sam Goody.
