From the lack of replies and what I've read here, I'm assuming there won't be a simultaneous 5.1 release but that one will most likely appear eventually.

Seeing as NIN is on Universal, and they have put out pretty much squat in North America as far as surround music for a long time (not including those Moody Blues SACD's that someone will eventually mention and that the band probably paid for!) , I'd say a big fat NO.
