Ahhhhhhhh, never saw that thread, definitlty agree but to me it also seems to lack any depth in sound stage

So a few new arrivals, first up is Bowie Heathen sealed orange & cobalt version RTI pressing, nicely done.

And Joe Cocker , Speaker corner, mint condition , got a good deal on it but man another speakers corner pressing that is fetching some real coin.

Unfortunately, I purchased a just released CD called READY OR NOT THOM BELL PHILLY SOUL ARRANGEMENTS & PRODUCTIONS 1965-1978.

Yes, the tunes are great, but honestly about half the songs sounds comPRESSed. DePRESSing.......

So, here are the DR values. Many are good. OK, so I exaggerated a bit. Hmmmm. Thing is, I wanted every song to sound amazing...and they do not!

I bit the bullet....saw them in Denver in 2018 in a SMALL theater, there weren't 300 people in there...what a shame... incredible show...got their autographed CD in the venue...
Will try to see them if they come to NOLA next year...
Got their latest on CLEAR vinyl (I will have to TELL my TT that it's an LP cause it won't know there's anything on the platter!) with a CD..which I think is WAY better than a "download code"..sent for it all the way to GERMANY...apparently it´s a very limited edition!!!

Amazingly just scored a long sought LP version of Pretzel Logic for 10 dollars at my fave local record store. I know people don't love this mix but it sounds great on my Sansui 7001.

I have the 7001 also plus that Steely Dan album. I can't say I hate the mix or anything. But anything SD did was always in my top faves. 🙂

The first three Beatles 180g Parlophone reissues. I've had the Stereo and Mono CD boxes for awhile and most of the original LP's, but not those first three...it was time...
