Whatever happened, it was fast.

Saw Mac twice, on the Tusk tour in 1980 and I think Tango in the Night. Lindsay wasn’t there but reasonably sure Christine was.
Great voice and songwriter

Also saw the Tango tour, and she was definitely there. Also saw her with FM a couple of years later when the band seemed to be at a low ebb and possibly ready to really call it quits at that time (probably in the early 1990s I'm thinking), and I distinctly remember that she seemed to be the only one that really wanted to be there. And in this case, she made damn sure that the show was still one to remember which I really appreciated at the time.

Used to play this one a lot back in my aforementioned college radio days, not sure it's much remembered now. Okay, that got me. Sniff. Mix the vocals a little higher and there's your posthumous single. Plus a surround version, of course.

I have not listen to the album "Tango In The Night" in ages until GM started to use Christine's "Everywhere" in its TV ads. What a wonderful song....

What would be a great concert DVD/Blu-ray to play for her tribute?
”The Dance” 1977 is mixed by Elliot Scheiner, but is only DD 5.1.

Sad news indeed. I have been a FM fan since their early Blues days. Christine's "Brown Eyes" from Tusk is one of my favorite Mac songs. I love the interplay and dynamics between her and Mick on that song. It will forever remind me of her now when I hear it.
