I can add that it was in aid of the Nordoff-Robbins Music Therapy Centre for providing music therapy for handicapped children and the BRIT school of performing arts and technology. And indeed it was a Historical Event in the British Festivals.
There were some problems with the weather, the wind most noticeable.

I just noticed that I never added anything about this show...
Well I was there, and almost lost my life on the line for the buses to the train station...
We were way in the back and only heard the music when the wind was blowing our way..
I had my walkman so we took turns listening to it on the BBC feed.
Paul let Floyd close due to the fact their lights and effects would have been useless due to the "long" days in June/July.

Not really worth the effort getting tixs and getting to and from the show...but had a great time in Amsterdam earlier that week.
