Any reason why the SACD might, or might not sound better than my DVD-Audio???

It's from the DVD Audio sessions so the two versions (DVD-A and SACD) sound very close to me. For SACD fans and those who never found the DVD Audio, this will be a nice addition to the collection.

Sorry to rehash this slightly old thread but I heard this morning on news radio that Dreams is charting at #14. The album is also charting up as well. Only 41 years since release. Something to do with a current video by someone. Can't remember all the details because I was still half asleep.

I have both and Brian's right.....same 5.1 remix/remaster on both editions. My DVD~A playback IS better than my SACD playback so naturally the DVD~A sounds better on MY system. For the $29 that Amazon is charging for the SACD, you might want to have it as a back~up.

CDJapan currently has it on backorder and the price is $28.51 + s/h from Japan http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/product/WPCR-14171?s_ssid=e467d15ac6c51658fc
