I just completed my Mo-Fi Bob Dylan Mono collection.
I've had some of these on SACD for years starting with the original Sony releases and re-bought a couple of those with the 2013 Mo-Fi releases.
This is the first time that mono SACDs have been released AFAIK.
To me these are the holy grail of early to mid Dylan but none of them have sold out.

I wonder how well these will sell. They're limited to 3,000 pressings each.
Even though some of them have been out for a while I waited for Another Side to be released to buy all of them as that is such a great record.
What surprised me was how low the numbers are. The highest one is 1,338 and that is the last one released!
I know these don't ship in ordered number but it seems to me that there's no rush to get these gems.
Dylan has been extensively released but I thought that hard-core fans would flock.

ImportCD has been 'blowing out' a number of MoFi Stereo SACDs for the last few years at less than 50% off and last December, even Acoustic Sounds had approximately 250+ SACD titles on sale for 50% off and keep in mind, they're ALL limited editions, pressed in VERY limited quantities.

Even the AF Dylan Bootleg double SACD is still available and from the questionnaire Jon Urban posed on this website, VERY few respondents listed that title as IN THEIR COLLECTION.

I purchased ALL the early SONY Dylan stereo/mch SACD remasters from Columbia House when they were blowing them out for $7 or $8 and although we all know they're NOT definitive, they do sound reasonably better than the RBCDs and I've only purchased a few MoFi Dylan remasters [stereo SACD only] which are better but I do think Dylan has been OVERREPRESENTED in the hi res reissue market which might explain WHY those MoFi titles have NOT sold out. I did manage to buy MoFi's Stereo SACD of Dylan's New Morning recently for $12.62 from ImportCD. https://www.importcds.com/new-morning/821797212762 [still available]

...or ten.

...or never. [emoji19]

Still waiting on the rest of the Dire Straits catalogue. Brothers In Arms was brilliant.
The best way to wait for a MoFi release is to forget that you ever ordered it. Then one day out of the blue you get an email stating that your disc has shipped(assuming, of course, that it ever does). Here's another one for you to ponder: How long does it take for any of this stuff to go OOP? I swear, I could sell my collection of SACDs and DVD-As (or even just the Audio Fidelity multichannel SACDs, of which there aren't that many) and pay for plane tickets for the family to fly roundtrip to anywhere on the planet. Not that I would(sell them, that is). Thank God I started buying this stuff back when Circuit City was still in business. Almost(almost) makes up for missing out on the first wave when quad vinyl recordings were being sold as new releases.

Did you order SUPERFLY, Markie? If so, how do you like it?

How's the hip?

Yes, I did order it and compared it to the HDTracks 24/192. The MOFI SACD (DSD64) and the FLAC 24/192 are very equal, my ears are unable to tell the difference, I always tend to prefer the MOFI touch better, however.

Just got these two stereo beauties today.

Upcoming...in 6 months... a year....a year and a half....who knows...next time Music Direct has a sale I'll order from them...since they are Mobile Fidelity AND music direct gives discounts of music that's not in stock...acoustic sounds doesn't...actually today is my 1 year anniversary...it's been 1 year today since I order Hendrix's Are You Experienced....I ordered Axis on the same order and I received it 4 months ago....so what has transpired in over a year on that title...all we have now is the infamous "coming soon" from Analogue Productions.....what a joke this is....and there is the mom and pop Dutton actually putting titles up for sale when they are ready...what a concept:unsure:
