I need some help. Maybe I’m misunderstanding the capabilities of the Oppo 205 USB DAC. I have hooked up a media server to the USB DAC input. I using Foobar to play 2 channel PCM Flac files. My intention is to use the Oppo as a DAC and output analog to the Surround Master. I downloaded the driver from Oppo and using ASIO as the output format. Whenever I try to play a file I get the following error:
Unrecoverable playback error: Could not initialize the driver
Tried several times uninstalling the driver. The device manager shows Oppo UDP-205 USB AUDIO 2.0 DAC
Device Status:
The drivers for this device are not installed (Code 28)
There are no compatible drivers for this device.
I’ve run the setup app several times. Any suggestions?

Well I half way figured it out. The Oppo download page is confusing. Googled it and found a different download page. Apparently I was downloading the wrong driver version. Not the windows 10 version. I’ve got it working in Jriver, but not in foobar. Weird. Foobar will not play the files. Need to do some more research!
