I just bought a Technics Model Number (RS-858DUS 2/4 Channel 8 Track tape deck. I put
3 new rubber belts in. Where can I buy the 3 Rubber motor mounts at?
I regreased the Unit & Oiled the Motor. But when you put an 8 track in it runs for about 1 minute & the Sound goes out & when you eject the Cartridge you hear Static is this the 8 track Tape itself or could it be the Deck itself?
I’m the 2nd owner & it look’s like it was never played more than 5 times very little Dirt inside.
The previous owner had the Original of everything from Manual to RCA Cords to Paperwork to Brochure.
Should I send it in to be Really Serviced? If so where?
