I decided to make a list of all the DG recordings Thomas Mowrey made - he's implied that there's quad mixes already made that are "big ambience" or "active surround" as he put it for all of these except perhaps the last one or two. I've left off the Arthur Fiedler pure pop recordings, which I seriously doubt Universal/DGG will rerelease (they weren't on the "yellow label" anyway). Part 1 is recordings made under his name, Part 2 recordings from the Boston Symphony and Boston Symphony Chamber Players that I believe he'd be involved in given his bio.

To give a little context, I suspect Universal Classics (who own Deutsche Grammophon , Decca, Philips, and a number of smaller catalogs like Westminster and Command) might be willing to release more titles on blu-ray audio. They've quietly been releasing more and more box sets in the configuration of one or more CDs, plus the content of those CDs on a blu-ray audio disc. You can see a lot of them here: https://www.prestoclassical.co.uk/classical/search?search_query=cd+++blu-ray+audio. And I think they're selling well - a number of these sets seem to have already sold out, like the Kertesz set of Dvorak Orchestral Works (https://www.deccaclassics.com/us/cat/4830744).

So far the Steinberg Planets is the first time they've issued a quad mix in such a setup, although they did include a surround mix in the Kleiber Orchestral Recordings box as well (previously issued, but still), and made a new surround mix for the blu-ray audio of the Bernstein Beethoven Symphonies box. I suspect they're seeing how it sells and if it does well, they'll do more. They've been working with Polyhymnia on these transfers, who also did all the Pentatone quad transfers, so they're very familiar with the process.

One suggestion, then, would be a box of Seiji Ozawa's Ravel recordings with the BSO. Pentatone already issued a 1 LP on SACD, but he recorded all of them, and they could re-use those transfers along with new ones of the other works. I'd be fine with using 24/96 instead of 192 if it meant we could get them all on one blu-ray/box.

I see the prestoclassical.co.uk site has a lot of these as a download now; personally I always go for a physical disc if that's an option, and rip it myself (old fashioned that way I guess!)
