For those of you who do not (yet) know the material, it is a total departure from "the norm".
There are no recognizable instruments, no rhythms, no vocals, no harmony and no melodies. It's pure dark & creepy sounding, meant for total late night immersion
Could be really interesting.

Watch this space.

Wow, in 5.1. Immersion is the right word; I have the first Bass Communion from several years ago. While it is certainly a departure from songcraft, it still has a momentum and achieves some stunning peaks.

I don't know where SW finds the time to do all these things but glad he does. Being a 5.1 champion is awesome too. :smokin:

Neil, could you put a bug in someone's ear about putting Blackfield on 5.1 DVD-A? I'd say it'd be a must buy.

Is there just rampant, tortured screaming...? ;) Is this David Lynch, moody-dark, or something else?

I'd expect no screaming whatsoever based on Bass Communion 2 that I already have. Kind of like a gothic soundtrack, Fripp & Eno territory perhaps, only more modern in textures...
