I'm hoping the Q8 collectors here can clear up some confusion for me. It appears that the track listings for the Chicago albums are radically different on Q8 compared to LP. It would be a huge help to me (and hopefully others) if folks who own the Q8s of all the early Chicago albums (Chicago Transit Authority through X) could please post the track listings.

Thanks in advance! :)

Hope that canadian carts have the same song sequence... V is the only one i have and... it's really messed up.

Chicago vii is messed up on Q8.most likely to get the sides running close to equal in timing.

Chicago VII Q8 Version:
Prelude To Aire
Aire
Song Of The Evergreens
Happy Man
I've Been Searching So Long
Mongonucleosis
Devil Sweet
Wishing You Were Here
Hanky Panky
Life Saver
Byblos
Italian From New York
Call On Me
Woman Don't Want To Love Me
Skinny Boy

CD Version:
1. Prelude To Aire
2. Aire
3. Devil's Sweet
4. Italian From New York
5. Hanky Panky
6. Life Saver
7. Happy Man
8. Searchin' So Long, (I've Been)
9. Mongonucleosis
10. Song Of The Evergreens
11. Byblos
12. Wishing You Were Here
13. Call On Me
14. Women Don't Want To Love Me
15. Skinny Boy

Devil Sweet really belongs after Prelude and Aire on side 1. It sounds really out of place as track 7 on the Q8 version. Also at the end of "Italian..." there is a synth part that has a reverb tail into "Hanky Panky". That tail can be heard at the beginning of Hanky Panky but "Italian..." is track 12. Still, my favorite Chicago album and, as they all are, really fun to listen to in quad.

C7 is my favorite. I sent a 24/96 resequenced wav file to Neil for conversion, maybe for QpS. I think it's almost done.

I prefer to listen to my Canadian Chicago VII Q8. For some reason the mix sounds less muddy than the US Q8's I've had and heard.
