Great find! Copied the relevant quote below:
When asked about the reissues of the bands older albums in 5.1:

"We're going through the process at the moment of remixing all the old albums and doing 5.1 mixes and that's been quite interesting and fun. We've just literally finished doing the remixing of 'Script for a Jesters Tear' and I think the remix makes it sound nice, it's a real improvement. Also there's a documentary that's going to accompany the album, which tells the story of the very early days of the band from the people that were there including some ex-members. I haven't watched it yet, it's literally being edited at the moment. The guy that's doing it has said that it's turned into a real labor of love and it really tells the story well. There's a lot of great information there that people won't know, so I think that would be one that people will like to see it's gonna be probably released around January 2020."
I wonder who's doing the remix - Bradfield & Mackintosh? Mike Hunter? SW???

It'll be interesting to see how the 5.1 turns out as the album is pretty sparse arrangement-wise, though there are some playful moments in the stereo mix where Fish's vocals move around (middle section of the title track, ending of "The Web") that could translate to surround very nicely. I tried my hand at an upmix a few months ago that came out rather nice - hopefully this will better that :)

I have not tried them, waiting for the big box since I understand they are supposed to be it.

Thanks, I didn't know this source. The release date of the last reissue album, Afraid of Sunlight, was announced by the band two months prior, which would mean beginning of March for SFAJT if announced today... OK, let's go with "early 2020" for now.

I did not know this source too. I knew SFAJT is next in the reissue series, so I did a search for any info and I came across that interview. I’m thinking possibly March or April which would be fine. Sure would stink if they wait until November.

Lucy, Marillion's manager, has just said that the pre-order for "Script" will go up around late January, and the release date will be early April.

:)
