I'd wait until the title, just like its predecessor, appears on CDJapan or Amazon JPN; US and EU vendors usually follow shortly after.

Other than that, please use post #1 of this thread to find links to threads for individual releases - I keep the list updated all the time.

Of course, I do appreciate the discussion here in this thread, as it keeps it alive and promoted, thank you all!

You do an awesome job with the thread....thank you(y)

I'm a artist and I released this (Step by moa) EP in 5.1 this year. It's available as a 24/44 5.1 flac for the time being though im planning to have a blu-ray A release of it whenever i get the chance. Can you add it to the list?
I'm sorry, I was definitely about to - it's done now, will add the cover next time I'm re-shuffling the picture.

Received this today......just getting round to watching, now.......an absolute joy !!!

I've added this link to 80 albums in Dolby Atmos currently available for streaming via Tidal at the bottom of this year's list. I'm not equipped for Atmos yet and don't have a subscription, but I believe it should work for anyone. If I'm mistaken and there's a better way to access the playlist, please let me know.

Haikubass, thank you so much for the link. Maybe I'm the only person who didn't know Tidal were doing this but it seems to me like it's quite a big story for surround fans - and an even bigger one for content-starved Atmos fans! There are some albums in there which I don't think were previously available in surround such as Jagged Little Pill and lots of 1960s jazz.

Anyway, my small question is: do you think this is worth a thread all of its own?

Glad you find it useful, @Fourpointone!

There are two threads (more or less) dedicated to streaming Dolby Atmos content already:

I'd definitely love to have a thread to list all Dolby Atmos titles available for streaming, if that's what you mean. But there are also platforms like Apple TV+ or Amazon HD, carrying titles like Pearl Jam – Gigaton, Linkin Park – Hybrid Theory or Tom Petty – Wildflowers, and these should to be incorporated too – I need to investigate how to access these yet.

Wow, this is a revelation to me - I had no idea it was going on! I will definitely get myself over to those threads. It seems to me it's really good news for our hobby if it revitalises and increases the demand for multichannel music. Ideally of course we would see these titles released in physical format as well but maybe we just have to move with the times and accept that streaming is the future.

I didn't mean to suggest a thread listing all all Dolby Atmos or surround titles available for streaming but if this is the way things are going, it might be worth thinking about. Another thought is whether or how these titles should be included in surround polls. I'm sure there are lots of other angles - the best hardware to use and so on.

Thank you very much again, haikubass - I do think this is really good news.
