Well, even in 2023 multichannel audio on physical media still seems to be a thing and I still do think a release calendar with all the apropriate info aggregated in one place can come in handy. Also, multichannel downloads deserve their place here as well.
I am going to keep the list as accurate as possible and also try not to fall for any vaporware this time. If a release is not fully confirmed yet or the mix needs to be reviewed first (live recordings, typically), it stays here in post #2 before it shifts to the main list.

I bought a couple of Severed Heads discs back in the day but I was always just a casual fan. I figured I'd check this out since their music could translate very well to surround and it's very affordable on Bandcamp. It's not mixed from multitracks but it's still a very interesting mix. On my 5.1.4 system, the music is biased to the rear but I still enjoyed it. Worth checking out if you're a fan of the band or like eccentric electronic music.

How this is done?
The original recordings are in stereo. Re-staging is a sequence of
processes.
First each stereo recording is divided into a set of frequency bands
that are related to particular instruments. For example the kick drum
is usually around 80Hz and below, whereas high hats might be
around 2KHz and up - it depends very much on the original
recording. These bands can be repositioned in both panning and
width in the stereo field. The kick might for example be placed dead
in the centre and the width reduced to keep it from spilling outwards.
The track now sounds like an augmented stereo mix. This is adjusted
over and over until it sounds right. If it doesnʼt ever sound right, that
track gets rejected and we move on to another. Not everything will
work.
Now the bands might be compressed using envelopes that ʻtightenʼ
the sound. The image is going to be heard in a virtual (reverberant)
space and that can sound blurry. Envelopes keep the mix tight and
gives each sound more room to work.
Now the track goes through ʻup scalingʼ. An algorithm recognises
the position and width of the bands and places them in a 3D image
formed by 10 virtual speakers (7.1.2). Further mixing is required -
the ʻbackʼ speakers are tamed or expanded - the ʻcentreʼ speaker
can sometimes help with vocals but usually is muted. A low
frequency speaker can be used if and when it helps the sound. The
stereo track is also adjusted while the ʻup-scaledʼ image is
monitored. This again is done over and over until it sounds right - or
is rejected.
Dolby ATMOS renders on the fly to fit each playback system. It
sounds different on headphones, movie theatres and sound bars.
Thereʼs also at least two different renderers in use - by Dolby and
Apple! The binaural mixes use Dolbyʼs version and sound just like
the original ʻup-scaleʼ. But on Apple devices youʼll hear a different
version. So testing on every available system and multiple
headphones is needed.
Once Iʼm happy enough I make an ADM Wave master. This can also
include 100+ sound objects but right now the 7.1.2 bed is enough.
That then is exported into MP4 format by an ATMOS Renderer and
is ready to test on different machines.
A couple of bits from the Q&A:
Are the ATMOS versions uncompressed?
No they are encoded as a Dolby Digital Plus JOC
bitstream (.ec3). This is the same format used for music streaming. Uncompressed files would not fit
on a iPhone = but they could be used on a Blu-Ray.
Why don’t you make a Blu-Ray?
That is a future decision that again depends on demand.
