Thinking I might just be OK with this Denon model.

It says on the back it's made in Japan (y), and, if I only end up doing a 5.1.4 system anyway

Anyone tried this one out with MPEG H/360RA?

Yes, I have the new Marantz Cinema 50. Same processor etc.

MPEG-H decoding works fine. But at the moment only with NVIDIA SHIELD and an app called IRZ MPEG-H Player that can bitstream MPEG-H directly over HDMI. A bit difficult to setup, because it can only be configured with json config file to playback files from a local web server. And it only accepts MHM1 encoded MPEG-H files. Not MHA1 encoded MPEG-H that Tidal uses.

Tidal 360 RA through Chromecast still doesn't work. A firmware update should be coming that should fix that in the near future, probably together with the Dirac Live update.
