Well the fact that the tracks are all double-listed on the blu-ray probably increases the chance that there is a stereo and multi-channel mix (or I suppose it could it stereo and mono :D).
Regardless, for me, Hendrix is at the top of the heap with a handful of other bands so I want it with or without a multi-mix.

Thank you 5.1 4 Life

Hard to imagine it would be otherwise.

Credit Sony for separately issuing a reasonably-priced small-format CD box.

But the 12" vinyl looks good and includes the blu ray as well.
I might prefer that just for the large format book and and cover art.
Win-win.

Mono as a possibility crossed my mind, but on reflection it seems unlikely.

Electric Lady was designed for state-of-the art multi-tracking.
None of this material was ever pressed in mono on vinyl that I'm aware.

I believe that Axis: Bold As Love was the last LP that Hendrix released with both mono & stereo mixes. Remembering that the Blu-Ray included with the Electric Ladyland box had featured the album in both 5.1 & the original stereo mix, it looks like they're doing the same thing with this upcoming collection.

If that track list is correct (except for the misspelled "Pali Gap") I'm in. The tracks appear to be most, if not all, of the songs on Rainbow Bridge and Cry of Love, both of which I've always dreamt of getting in surround. I'm worried about two things: whether there will, in fact, be a surround mix, and whether "Slow Poli Gap" is, in fact, my favorite Hendrix song.

Hahaha. Slow Poligrip maybe?
