Hi Everyone,
I have an old Akai GX-270DSS 4 channel reel to reel deck that has been professionally modified for time log use. I would like very much to restore it to its original state if possible. I have not opened it, but I do know that at least the pots need to be put back in and I will need a new(not shaved down) capstan. It does however power up and wind reels. It also has reading on the meters, but the audio jacks have been changed to an octal socket. I felt that I shouldn't open it until I had diagrams to work from. Is there anyone out there who would be able to photocopy or create a PDF file for me? I am willing to reimburse any reasonable amount for copying.
