I've just watching an amazing performance of chamber music on the BBC Proms: Sheku & Isata Kanneh-Mason a brother and sister on Cello & Piano. I read somewhere that all of the siblings are incredibly talented musicians. The passion with which they played was great, and watching them really shows that - which is why I think I prefer being at a classical music concert rather than listening on an album. They played pieces I have never heard before (as far as I know), Beethoven (Cello Sonata in C Op102 no. 1), Samuel Barber (Cello Sonata), Frank Bridges (Melodie) & Rachmaninov (Cello Sonata in Gm Op19) - I even liked the Beethoven (don't normally)! The Rachmaninov was my favourite though.

My satellite box is now recording the 2nd part of the Soul America documentary to watch later, so quite a difference in genres in one evenings viewings!
