It seems there will be a song release tonight at midnight, stereo mix by Paul Hicks. Streaming services and youtube.
More to come in 2021. Yay! Nov 27 is the actual 50th anniversary.
Since Hicks' mixes of Gimme Some Truth are in Atmos on Tidal, I think it's at least a possibility that the same would happen. Maybe spring? http://webgrafikk.com/blog/news/2020-anniversary-mix-of-all-things-must-pass/

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/m000pljnFrom BBC today, an hour-long program on the album.

Thanks for sharing this. I just finished the program. It was truly outstanding. An impressive list of collaborators and friends are interviewed. I particularly enjoyed Bobby Whitlock’s recollections. I was expecting a sort of fluff piece, an overview, but this was so much more—a rich and respectful celebration of the man and the album.

I agree! I loved Bobby Whitlock's giggle throughout, haha.
I found this, a really extensive collection of interview bits about the album. It includes some of what was used in that BBC program:

Some interesting changes in the new ATMP2020 mix, for sure. I like the small vocal change that is more audible at 2:55.

As a goof (and I knew what I was getting into) I bagged this thing off eBay a few months ago. Needless to say, the 5.1 is awful. I could have done better with Penteo or SPECWeb. The surround mix is actually pretty decent on second take. It 's also nice to have the out takes (which of course have been floating around for decades) in one spot. However, I would not advise anyone to get a bootleg as it's not authorized and it's always a crap shoot. If you've never heard the unreleased stuff it might be a worthy purchase to you. My curiosity cost me about fifty bucks! o_O

Forage on at your own risk. I do not recommend purchasing bootleg recordings.

Thank you Jon
cdvault have it, so I bought it.

I view it as Historical Recordings

Man if this doesn’t get a surround mix (or at least a little spritzing up), I may need to sit done and have a good cry. Or at least a cold one in my garden with some gnome friends 😢

Amen Pupster. I still have a cassette I recorded from the vinyl albums for my car
Let's hope this new edition is done right

Gnome~enclature, aside, Dear Pupster, I'm currently spinning my recently acquired Japanese MQA encoded 2 disc set of ATMP and still scratch my head why Harrison didn't engage the services of Sir George to record his magnum opus. Wack job Spector [a legend in his OWN mind] and his bombastic wall of sound was, IMO, a poor fit for George's magnificent vision and hopefully, through digital manipulation, ATMP will finally pass muster!

A Bitchin' Brew With the Pupster🐶 would be most delightful!

I am surprised there isn't more "Spect-u-lation" on this release.

I've got the original US LPs stored away someplace and haven't listened to them in ages; but now that I have a shiny new TT I'm thinking of a visit to Gnome land once again after a long hiatus.
Probably this one:
