Ampex 8400 Receiver/Q8 Owner/Service Manuals

Hi All,
I have just picked up a Quad 8-Track Receiver... the AMPEX 8400 (catalog number 7720078)... at Ebay. Ampex 2/4 Channel Fm/am Eight Track System 8400 | eBay
Anybody knows how to get a manuals (Owner's and Service) for this?
Also, it has a connector on the back labeled SIGNAL PROCESSOR C (see photo)
Any Idea on what is this for?
