I was curious if anyone owns or has heard the quad mix of Ted Nugent's "Free For All". It is not covered in the 4-channel spotlight section.

I have an odd attraction to this particular title. That’s probably because my first car in the 80’s had an old 8-track deck and one of my three tapes was “Free For All”. I got to know it really well and it’s still one of my favs.

I had this until it the labelling disaster rendered it unplayable. IIRC, the mix was typical Columbia/Epic quad of the day. Bass & drums up front, guitars fearlessly in the back and occasionally from all sides. If you enjoy the tunes then you'll want to have this.

Would've liked to had the first album since my high school band always tried to work up Stranglehold....

I have the Q8 and it sounds great. I noticed a neat 'bongo' section during the song Free For All. I'd prefer the first Nuge album in a quad, but FFA is still good.
