  3. Porcupine Tree - "Walk The Plank"
  4. Doors - "Riders On The Storm"
  5. Joni Mitchell - "Harry's House/Centerpiece"
  6. Spoon - "Astral Jacket"
  7. Pineapple Thief - "137"
  8. Tori Amos - "29 Years"
  9. Monkey House - "New York Owes You Nothing"
  10. A-Ha - "Take On Me"

Interesting to observe my ego and the monkeys chattering in my head. I thought I had the definitive list and others would have 5 of them. I’m obviously delusional lol.

This is a good list Sjcorne! I just heard a few tracks here for the first time in ATMOS.

ATMOS demo tracks to show off ATMOS capabilities, in no order of preference:

1. Angie (Rolling stones)
- Subtle expansion with strings in sides and rears.

2. Another One Bites The Dust (Queen)
- full of special effects bouncing around.
- Guitars all over the place find really well!

3. Californian Soil (London Grammar)
- hauntingly spectacular in the ATMOS mix. The best opener, so craftily created.

4. Bitter Taste ((Billy Idol) & Steve Stevens)
- Well done the rebel still yells, and Steve is still doing his magic)
- nice balance of front and rear.

5. Welcome Back (Neil Young & Crazy Horse)
- This 2022 ATMOS creation feels like it was recorded back in the 70s. I love how the two guitars use the sides and rear speakers and not the front. Awesome validation of big speakers all around!!!
- This is music evolution from an old soul still taking us on his journey. Well done Neil and team.

6. Stand Up (Tierra Whack)
- Fun ATMOS mix that demos why 2 speakers can’t compete with 7.4.4

7. Rocket Man (Elton John)
- lovely warm full ambient mix. So yummy.
- Even grandma can join in the ATMOS fun with this tune.
- the focus dances back from front focus verses and full surround chorus.
- 10 out of 10 for this mix

8. Circles (Post Malone)
- One of the pioneering ATMOS tracks show the industry and audience how new music can sound. When I was showing off ATMOS music ; years ago this track gave my friends the confidence to invest $5, $10, or $30k on a new system and my SACD pipe dreams of surround music were not the thing if the past. Surround music has a future Post Malone bought new surround music to the masses.

9. Blurred Lines (Robin Thick)
- the fun song remixed with 360 vocals and music

10. Seniorita (Shawn Mendes & Camila Cabello)
- Camila singing from the front and Shawn from the back.

11. Money For Nothing ( Dire Straights)
- this SACD classic evolves into ATMOS with a new mix / edit

12 Boyfriend (Selena Gomez)
- I used to think Selena was ok radio music. But when here albums hit the ATMOS released I was converted.
- these two songs are so well recorded and mixed.

13. Sweet Caroline (Neil Diamond)
- a fun classic.
- there is something done in this mix where if the room correction is done well, the sweet spot takes on a new meaning with the vocals coming from all speakers. It’s trippy.

14. Dreams (Fleetwood Mac)
- wonderful. My most played 5.1 SACD evolved into ATMOS.
- RIP Christine.

From my Apple Music Surround playlist, I think the best are:

Antenna (Live) - Kraftwerk (There might be others from that 3D album that shine a bit more, but this one stood out to me most.)
Tears for Fears - Long, Long Time (or perhaps The Tipping Point)
Beatles - A Day In The Life (This is for a Beatles fan... the big buildup toward the end of the song cranked up usually gets their attention.)
Max Cooper - Exotic Contents
Drum Planet - King Clave or Storm Drum (These are my top “show off the system” songs.)
Daniel Belanger - Soleil levant
Mats Bergstrom/Steve Reich - Electric Counterpoint: III. Fast
Earth, Wind & Fire - September (This is really just for my mom, but it makes me happy to see her reaction to a song she loves.)
Korrnelius - Immersive Darkness

About half of these are things I learned about on this forum, for which I am eternally grateful.

Kraftwerk – 3D Catalogue
First thing I listed.

Personally, I have an xPropaganda song in my Surround playlist. But if I only have a song or two to grab somebody with Atmos, I have others that I think might do a better job.

Nice list, I'm with you on most of it, but my go to Tori Amos is "Spies" and my Tom Petty favourite is "It's Good to be King. :)

Can somebody with a fully calibrated Atmos system help me? I need some tracks to demo bass, and need feedback on tracks/albums I am having problems with. Some titles I have are overwhelmed with bass, I was wondering is it my set up, or is the mix bad?

What do you mean by ‘bass’?

Hip hop/electronica? Jazz or rock band? Orchestral/pipe organs?

What tracks are you playing & what are you hearing?

I mean all things low; KICK, TOMS, BASS GUITAR.

I am playing albums such as Rodriguez Jr Bliss and the kick drum is way way too much in the lows, same with Gordian knot, both atmos mixes. I was wanting to know if others have same experience with certain albums.

Are you listening through a receiver? do you have bass management on? are your speaker setup as full range?
I never had this issue but from what you say it could be a bass management setup messed up
