Well...while after deciding to rearrange my entire collection of operating gear...I rotated the Involve Amp Master back in and retired the ol' Phase Linear 700B and Pioneer SA-7500....for the third time.

So very glad to have the Amp Master back creating joy....what a great Amp.

Thank you again to Involve, particularly of course, to @Overture and @chucky3042 for a fine piece, but really just for putting up with my unique journey to be listening again to their Amp. I'm very grateful.

Best Company Ever.

And now for the continuing injuries to my good self.

I dropped a weight on my toe in the gym a week ago, I really should wear shoes. Also about a year ago, I had a small spider bite on my back, everything kills you in Australia!

I believe the red welts are from a Red-Back spider. If you’d been bitten by a Sydney Funnel-web you’d certainly know it, with a visit to the “Hozzie” for anti-venom mandatory.

As my dear, departed dad used to say, "It'll feel better when it stops hurting". I hope that's soon! That toe looks gnarly!

Maybe it was, when I was a teen I stupidly walked everywhere with no shoes on and stood on a Red-back spider.....it died. Several years later I stood on a hot soldering iron, then I finally got the message that shoes were a good concept. The issue with shoes and me has always been a problem, my shoe size tracking my age from 5 to 13, fortunately it slowed down to size 16 otherwise I would be a size 66 today.

Recently I went shopping for shoes in the big guys specialist shop in Sth Yarra Melbourne called Rosenberg's, I was in hogs heaven, they start at size 13 and end at size 20 with an average of 15. The female sales person was 6 feet 4 and I would say the male was around 6 feet 6. I found my people finally.

Nasty little bugger:

Those pictures should come with a pre-warning!

You'd make a great barefoot water skier. ;)

Right now I'm cooking with that little Amp Master driving the hell out of 4 Klipsch RF-7's and not even breaking a sweat.
With a sensitivity of 100 dB, it don't take much. :p
Nasty little bugger:
I hate spiders, they're so sneaky.
I had a 8+ foot gator in my back yard this summer but at least you don't step on them by accident.

Hey, @chucky3042, that’s a set of nasty looking toes.

I’ve lived in places where the bugs are venemous (well, that’s just about everywhere), but I’ve been fortunate enough to avoid everything but a few bee and wasp stings. So far.

Heal quickly and completely!

Incidentally, can we quote you on this?
