Gosh, I want to encourage any release. By anyone. I didn’t even know what a SACD was until around 2011. Yes, I end up rebuying the same titles and that can be disappointing. And expensive. But glad to have choices.
Miles Davis "Bitches Brew" was worth it on several levels, a great quad mix, artwork that lends itself to the beautiful foil gatefold presentation, and a double album that was not priced at double the cost of a single album. The all titles in the series for the most part are really great sounding. So much potential still. If we could just get a few more titles issued regularly or more consistently.
