Highly recommend this album. It can be had for $16 through Drag City. Too many people let this album fly under their radar when it was first released.

As the title would suggest, this album has a meditative theme to it and is about coming out the other side of trauma. Impressionistically, The Letting Go reminds me of 70's era Neil Young with light electronics from the mid 2000's. Think alternative singer/songwriter with strings and computers. A great album to sit quietly and have a drink with or whatever other adventures you get up to.

Consistently active mix with strings and electronics in the rears with flourishes of female vocals and harmonies. Well produced with a subtle pop sensibility.

People complain about a lack of modern artists for a reasonable price and a good mix. Well, here it is.
