So, I am in the market to pick this release up. I am following it at several places. What is the price that I should reasonably expect to pay?

Hi. paustin

It can vary a lot and there is 2 versions of the Quad Carpenters-Singles CD-4 & SQ the CD-4 tends to go higher than the SQ LP version.

If there is interest in the other Carpenters Quad LP`s at this Japanese Auction site these 2

I remember an ad that appeared in BILLBOARD when A&M was readying their first quad LP's. "A Song For You" was listed as being in the loop for release on a QS LP, but of the albums listed in the ad, only Joan Baez's "Come From The Shadows" saw the light of day. By the time A&M finally released more quad on records, they had gone to SQ, then CD-4. Sadly, "Song" never made it to quad vinyl in any format in the US.

incredibly, the QS LP of "A Song For You" saw release in New Zealand - and at least one of our members ( LizardKing ) has it!!
