I recall reading about converting a turntable to CD-4 use by replacing the stereo output cables with the special CD-r-capable cables.

While peering into various Web sites I found one by Panasonic where parts can be ordered. Out of curiosity, I inputted my Technics SL-1300 turntable and up came this:

www.pasc.panasonic.com/ep...tsList.asp

I know my 1975 SL-1300 is designed to be CD-4 capable so, perhaps, the output cables are listed. Not sure, but, if anybody is looking for those specialized cables this MAY be one source.

It's possible other firms also have Web sites where old parts can be ordered.
