patiently waiting for this one to show up as a nice conversion from both SQ and Q8

Note: other than the green sticker, there is no Quad marking on front cover. SQ catalog # is on spine. 2ch LP release has a blue sticker on cover.

9. IMHO, some wonderful material, some sub-par material, too. At least half of the material is absolutely fantastic! It would have been easily a 10 were it a single LP. Still, the quality of the material is astounding coming 6 months after Chicago VI. There were 4 hit singles off this album! IMHO, Mongonucleosis is their best instrumental track ever.

Although they rarely do Mongonucleosis live, they did it live at the Petrillo Band Shell in Grant Park, Chicago, which became Chicago 26. I was at that concert and yelled "salsa," which got a grin from trumpeter Lee Loughnane.

This is my favorite Chicago album, there are others I like just as well though. A definite 10.
