QQ Member 'sukothai' has compiled a very detailed list of all DualDiscs released during the DualDisc era, oh those many years ago! :)

Ben has them listed in a Google document spreadsheet. If you are curious about what came out (and there are many you probably missed), this list is the place to go.

Check it out.

and Thanks for the hard work Ben!

Thanks Jon for posting this where it can be easily found.

Member 'beached' has contributed quite a bit to this list as well; so any appreciation must be directed to beached also.

Thanks, found a disc I didn't know about and Amazon had it for $7.99

Just noticed that the Chris Brown Dualdisc is not listed - can someone add it in???

I don't have it but I see its listed here:
https://www.quadraphonicquad.com/forums/showthread.php?6417-Chris-Brown-(DualDisc)

and is available on amazon:
http://www.amazon.com/Chris-Brown/d...60098552&sr=8-1&keywords=chris+brown+dualdisc

As far as I can tell, the Chris Brown dualdisc just has videos on the DVD side. I think we had it once and then pulled it because it wasn't surround.

OK - I'll PM Bob to remove the listing in the polls then...

Correction to make:

Cai (Format Unkn) Celentano, Adriano C'e' Sempre Un Motivo Sony Italian
Format is DD, available also in SACD (mix sucks big time on either)

Dolby Digital 5.1 Gemelli Diversi Reality Show Latin

Don't know if Latin has something to do with Italian Hip-Hop

More to add:

Format: DD
Artist, Carboni, Luca
Title: La stagione dell'amore
Label: Sony BMG
Features: full 5.1 mix of the entire album + some Video.
Notes: mix sucks big time. The Springsteen DD has more action in the rears ('nuff said).

Format: DD
Artist: DJ Jad
Title: Milano-New York
Label: Sony BMG
Features: full 5.1 mix of entire album + videos. Notes as above.

One more to add:
Artist: L'aura
Title: Oukimuki

don't know more than it should have a 5.1 mix, saw it many times and i don't like the artist so i didn't get it anytime.

This article (in italian) talks about three album coming out on DD format, all with surround mix. I've never met the Ivan Segreto or Simone Cristicchi DD anywhere.

There has been also some dance compilation by M2O radio station on dualdisc, need to find out the full information. Not to say the surround channel are synthetized badly.

To sum it short: the entire production run of the Italian Dualdisc by Sony BMG simply sucks big time on the surround aspect. If you want surround from these titles use any preset on your receiver and it will do it better.

Another one that it should exist but haven't meet anytime here in Italy - if some kind soul has it i will like to know how it is

Artist: Dalla, Lucio
Title: Caro amico ti scrivo
Label: Sony BMG

I have the DJ Jad Milano - New York - it is a dualdisc, but is stereo only. The cover says 5.1 but the disc is not 5.1, it is 2.0.

It is hard to tell from the images if they are 5.1 or not and vinylguy4 indicated DJ Jad is 2.0 only. Can you confirm the rest are 5.1? If not, I can add them with a note they need to be confirmed.

Thanks, Ben
