Interesting finds Mr Gene as you are so good at!

I always thought that Dokorder was a German brand just because of the name. I learned it was actually a Japanese brand. I think else where Quadlinda & others have trashed the brand as being one of the worst.

However Akai/Roberts ( Akai means simply, red) had some very good products. Now owned by the Chinese Grande company also holding Sansui & Nakamichi all I can say is buy the glory day products as you have listed.

I picked up a Dokorder some years ago cheaply on eBay. I still haven't gotten around to fixing it. Before getting my Akai I was very interested in Dokorder, it's likely a good thing that I didn't get one back then going by Quad Linda's remarks. It sits in my to do pile along with a Teac.
