I just hope the whole business model in general can continue what with this Sony 360RA debacle happening. I'm going to assume any title issued in 360RA is now off the table for SACD release for the foreseeable future. That's really going to limit what Mr. D can do from Sony. Hence why I'm gently pushing the idea of remixing older, relatively popular albums. If you can get artist & label approval.... and it won't cost a fortune to transfer the tapes to digital (which, I'm going to assume has already been done); then really isn't it just on Mr. D's shoulders in regards to time, mixing and mastering? At the end of the day - he'll corner the market with this special product. I suppose the elephant in the room would be can the sales of the discs bring a profit and pay for the costs? In terms of "Live at the Paramount" I believe they would - especially if they can do the entire album. It's never appeared in it's entirety before - 4 songs still remain unheard since the actual performance. So, the folks who want this album even in stereo would go nuts, and those of us with 4 ears can go equally bananas for the album finally getting a proper 4.0 release.

I really, really hope you're right. Wouldn't it be lovely if they release identical titles on BOTH RA AND SACD to see which one sells better. I know where my money would be going!

The last batch were Classical and Broadway QUAD titles from the Columbia and RCA catalogue as well. This batch was recorded and released by Dutton Epoch and was a labor of love for Michael Dutton so very surprised if any pop/rock/jazz titles are forthcoming.
But on a positive
....ONE NEVER KNOWS!
This is some pretty obscure stuff, mostly first recordings of unknown works/composers from England. I don't know for sure, but I'd assume that a lot of these recordings receive financial support from UK national and provincial gov't, as well as from various composer trusts/societies. Accordingly, I suspect they're a fairly stable source of income for DV.
The Sullivan is the obviously appealing one, but I'll pay attention to reviews for the rest, and probably order a few when there's another batch issued.

...Any if any cultural organisation is supported by the government it would have to display the "Arts Council Funded" logo. But I don't think a purely commercial business like a record company would qualify for such funding anyway.
