Don't know how I'll feel about seeing them without Glenn Frey
First time I saw them was about 1972 at Sportsmans Park in Chicago.
They opened for Linda Ronstadt and then played as her band that day.
About upstaged Linda and that's very hard to do.

I listened at each speaker up close; it sounded about 60% center, 15% each front and 5% each rear in output.
Seems like it was mixed for general T.V. sound; and I'm wondering if the box set will have a different mix?

so now we have two versions of this:

1. The blu-ray DTS-HD 5.1 mixed by Bob Clearmountain

2. The atmos version on Tidal mixed by ??

I'm listening to the atmos version on Tidal and really digging it. I haven't heard the blu-ray version but may pick it up to compare. Then I can compare both of these mixes to the Live at the Forum 1976 that is included on the Hotel California 40th Anniversary deluxe box set. Wow, over 40 years since the first forum release to this forum version.

Why isn't there a separate thread and surround poll for this release in either incarnation?

These newer concerts are okay but to me the best one that I have seen/heard is "Eagles Live At The Capital Centre 1977". It's available on Youtube but the one to have is on a Blu-Ray in the History Of The Eagles set.

Ugh I am trying to remember if my Blu Ray set is 2 or 3 discs. It's packed away right now so I cannot check.
