Yeah guess I should be happy - got it for about the same amount... I’ll give it a play again soonish - sub adjusted.

But there really are some silly prices around...

One of the craziest prices I’ve seen recently is for the Vangalis - Blade Runner OST SACD...
Which is in stereo! £100?!?!

Blade Runner ..... Stereo SACD .... 100 bucks!!!!! Geez.....one can buy the UHD 4K Remaster with a Dolby Atmos Soundtrack for FAR LESS. https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Blade-Runner-4K-Blu-ray/181637/

There's a sucker born every day ........ and they're all eating MUSHROOMS!

Maybe something of a bargain: the highest sold price on Discogs is . . . 270 dollars!!!

Is it the rarity or the quality that makes it so expensive?

I remember in 2004 being delighted to see LIVE AID 1985 on sale at WalMart -- 5.1, not that I had multi ability then -- but held off as I thought 24 bucks was a lot, although I eventually succumbed. Should have bought two!

On eBay right now:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Live-Aid-J...904681?hash=item547195f069:g:M5cAAOSw83NdCuMZ
which is cheaper than Amazon or Discogs (nearly 300 bucks!). Wow. However, look around, and you might snag one ("missing 3rd disc") that's somewhat less dear. . . .

(Oh, and don't expect any royalties going to Africa)

This seller seemed to specialize in selling quad LP's with accompanying dubbed quad reels. In this case, they were bold enough to state that the source of the quad reel came from 96/24 digital quad source. Sounds like the quad version that came in the Immersion boxed set...

Wish You Were Here quadraphonic LP AND quad reel to reel tape

...for $355!! You can get the whole dang Immersion boxed set for under $80 on Ebay right now! Yes, the quad LP will run you a bit more, but sheesh people!

I think I made a pretty good deal on this item:

Offered $20 and the seller immediately accepted. I was willing to gamble that much that the chip wasn't fried. I had to clean it up a bit, but it works perfectly. I've had a black one for years but didn't have a silver-faced model. Less that $40 including shipping.
Wholey Moley!! That is an Ebay shocker, and in the right direction. Congratulations on a fantastic steal!!

Wasn't there a worksheet deal where we could peruse the latest price paid on an eBay auction? Did that disappear with the board upgrade?
There's an Archies Q8 on eBay with the artwork I prefer, but guys asking $250. I think that's a bit much these days considering how poor the mix is and how many times it's been converted. Would be a great title to finally add to my collection. Pretty sure the last time I saw one listed, it barely cracked $100 but was also the Quad8 style with the artwork on the box.
