Flesh for Frankenstein
Vinegar Syndrome will be releasing Flesh For Frankenstein on UHD and in 3D laster this year

https://bloody-disgusting.com/home-...-frankenstein-real-3d-4k-ultra-hd-later-year/

Released today from Severin films! According to Severin: "a new master of the film, scanned uncut in 4K from the original negative for the first time ever". Severin's UHD of Santa Sangre was lovely, so I'm definitely getting this. Haven't seen it since the Criterion DVD.

Severin ship internationally too!

Flesh for Frankenstein

A Bit of Trivia. Warhol Actor and model Joe Dellasandro who starred in both Blood of Dracula and Flesh For Frankenstein was the 'model' for the album cover of The Rolling Stone's STICKY FINGERS, a cover designed by Andy Warhol in 1971.

I was such a fan of this bought every season on blu than season 8 killed it for me. I have been unable to look at any of the episodes again.....
If they could come out with the Richard Donner cut of superman II someone could bring out the real season 8....

Not impossible! I read the other day that Georgie-boy is going to change the ending in the book once he gets around to writing it. This, years after he said he wouldn't change the ending in the book.

Season 8 is the only one I own on BD and I didn't have a problem with it. It had an unexpected ending with a shock death exactly the same as pretty much every other season. But that's just me (and only me, evidently!).

Aaaaaanyway, excellent surround mix on the BD. When Dany was flying around over King's Landing, dang, the LFE was a window-rattler.

There's a very interesting take on the complete Game of Thrones series in UHD4K from this poster on blu.ray.com [FIRST REVIEW]

https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Game...ete-Collection-4K-Blu-ray/272488/#UserReviews

You can also get the entire Game Of Thrones series in 4k for about $133.50 but unfortunately it comes with season 8.

I did notice that the entire HBO series is UPSCALED but that the utilization of HDR10, Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos add immensely to the package consisting of 33 discs [23 dedicated to the 4K presentation]

And will the price dip any lower [think Black Friday/Cyber Monday]?

Not sure if this sale's been posted yet but here's a link: Kino Lorber - JUNE SWOON SALE 2021 (thru July 14, 2021) Couple of weeks still to go.

SO MANY tempting titles at bargain prices but seriously folks, I haven't even waded through my last Kino Lorber BD~V batch [some are STILL in their wrappers] and a lot of KL discs during this sale are VERY recent releases some of which I paid considerably more for. Oh well.....can't win them ALL.

Same here: I got about 50 new purchases still to watch!

To AMPLIFY on your list, Marplot, here's the current batch of Criterion titles on sale courtesy of blu.ray.com:

Arrow Home Video has now released Sam Peckinpah's MAJOR DUNDEE as a two disc BD~V set....an Extended Version 4K remastered by SONY and a 2K remastered Theatrical version. The Extended Version also includes a newly remastered soundtrack in 5.1. The extremely informative review from highdefdigest outlines a very troubled production schedule in bringing this classic to the screen.

An even more interesting retro essay from THE WASHINGTON POST:
