Papa bear wants Seven Samurai .. well all the Kurosawa/Mifune samurai movies.

I likewise ordered the Best Buy UHD4K steelbook of RAN .... and bargain priced at $20.99! AmazonUS is also blowing out a lot of the Criterion titles at 1/2 price. Still waiting for Citizen Kane's 4K price to come down.

AmazonUS also has about 14 UHD4K titles priced at between $7.99 and $9.99 ... prices usually reserved for Black Friday or Cyber Monday!

I could not believe it.. me wife had NEVER seen this classic.. so yesterday I told her that if she wanted to see something REALLY scary that this would be it... so I dusted the BD I had bought in Madrid which I had NEVER seen and she was REALLY impressed...and so was I cause I had not seen it in at least 10 years...

It has now been released on 4K Ultra HD…might have to pick it up & re-watch it myself…thanks for the reminder

Funny you mention Blade, not long ago I caught Blade: Trinity on my U-verse and was surprised how good (discrete?) the surround end credit music sounded. Fun flick also if you like that sort of thing.
