I own some 3D titles, but I have never seen them in proper 3D because I've never had a 3D TV. (My ex fought me on every home theater upgrade I wanted.) And of course, now they're unobtanium.

I have used a workaround: software that will convert from modern 3D to anaglyph. Like the red/cyan popular in the 50's and 60's, although I use green/magenta because it gives somewhat better results. And I got some green/magenta glasses from Amazon.

It's...not great, but at least it's allowed me to sort of experience these things.

So believe me when I say that I am absolutely here for a 3D revival.

It's hard enough to sell SURROUND SOUND to Joe Q Public but perhaps IF AVATAR: The Way of Water IS a success, LG will revive a limited edition 3D OLED TV at some juncture. When you've seen 3D on an LG OLED TV ..... it really is NIRVANA!
