DTS-CD Flaming Lips - Zaireeka. Anybody ever lay it onto a SDDS for 8-channel surround?

Flaming Lips - Zaireeka comes in a four-disc package intended to be played on four CD players through four separate stereos all at the same time.

Since Dolby Digital is only 5.1 and DTS is only 6.0 that must mean it's SDDS that can do the 8-tracks simultaneously presentation.

Anybody ever try and do a sync up of it so it will play in perfectly-lined-up octophonic sound?

I've got a quad mix of it somewhere... it syncs up fine. but yes 8.0 is a bit much unless you use the sub as a surround channel in 7.1


on the other hand my tascam da88's would do it....or my fostex
