Since many of my dts cd's have gone bad, I'm going back to files and finding in my haste and giddiness
to convert Q8's I simply captured and encoded. Seldom did I edit ,clean-up or do any prep .
Is there a recommended "Best Practice" i.e. capture best take as possible, normalize while capturing or afterwards.
fade intro or exit of each tune , record one tune at a time or one long file and chop or index after. Use noise reduction
on entire file or only low level parts or none at all . Maybe other recommendations I have missed.
