Genesis g80

I just got done driving a Genesis g80 prestige. I was mad that the manual states that it can play flac files up to 192khz 24 bit below 4600 mbps. It wouldn't read any of my music. Strangley enough it would play my 24bit/28khz .wav 5.1ch songs fine. I know the system has a surround sound mode and reference modes.

I didn't have time to figure out it it properly does 5.1ch placement in reference mode.

No mention of multichannel support. I just know it couldn't play 24 bit 176.4 flac at 6 compression. I wonder if compression was too blame. I'd have to test futher. .wav 24bit 48khz 0 compression 5.1ch played.

I didn't have time to test my test files.

Top gun soundtrack in every sample rate above 44.1khz in 24 bit with 0 & 6 compresssion.
