Thanks for the hedz up! Another musical hero of my generation turning 80. That was a great collection of tributes in the video and certainly some surprises. Joe Walsh was a hoot & I was pleased to see Al Jardine comment. And John Cusack who played Brian in the Love & Mercy bio-pic, an excellent movie. I know what my after dinner listening will be tonight!

I had no idea. My neighbor across the street went & said the first song was Happy Birthday. Meanwhile I was in my Bassment & listened to Smile & watched the Beach Boys 50th Anniversary performance. That was good too.

The Beach Boys with Harpers Bizarre opening was the first concert I ever went to. So far back I don't even remember how old I was, but my dad dropped me & a friend off & picked us up. I do remember that they used a real Theremin for Good Vibrations back then.
